The Flint Police Department has denied any wrongdoing after video of two black force cops surfaced online showing them tasering a white woman who had previously been handcuffed as she sat by earth.

Officers were called to arrest the woman on Saginaw Street in the city’s downtown on July 29 after she allegedly assaulted someone at a bar.

She faces charges for other charges, such as assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, multiple media reports.

Passerby Amanda LaMielle, 47, captured footage of the arrest on Saginaw Street in the city’s downtown and shared it on Facebook. The video shows a woman in handcuffs as two police officers stand beside her.

“That’s where it starts,” LaMielle told The Daily Beast, recalling the incident at around 10:30 p.m.

“When you see his feet go up… his body is just a noodle, and so his feet go down. She falls to the ground,’ she added, as the video shows the two cops trying to lift the woman into the squad car.

LaMielle, 47, an educator in Genesee County, said the two officers then approached the suspect, “hoping no one would notice” while they shocked him with a taser.

‘But obviously I did [notice]” LaMielle told The Daily Beast.

The two cops then try again and succeed on their second attempt to get the woman into their vehicle.

LaMielle claims the suspect was Taserized another time when he was finally seated in the patrol car, although the video does not necessarily show that this happened.

Detective Sergeant Tyrone Booth, spokesman for the Flint Police Department, confirmed to The Daily Beast that the woman was tasered twice, although he did not reveal exactly when it happened during the incident. ‘arrest.

Officers then closed the passenger door of the vehicle as they prepared to leave the scene of the arrest.

LaMielle confronts them and asks for their identifications as well as their badge numbers, but the two police officers refuse to follow her request and then ignore her.

Booth told the Daily Beast that “officers are required to identify themselves to the public”, but that the two cops on the night of the incident were “involved in a pretty difficult situation”.

They were cleared of any wrongdoing after the department reviewed the incident internally. Booth declined to reveal the identities of the two officers to The Daily Beast, as he told the outlet he didn’t want to “debate”.

DailyMail.com attempted to contact the Flint Police Department for further comment, but could not reach anyone in the force despite multiple attempts.

“After learning that you were under arrest, this is not a suggestion or an invitation to cooperate,” Det. sergeant. Flint Police Department’s Tyrone Booth told WNEM.

“An obligation at this point is to submit to this arrest and do so by turning around and placing your hands behind your back and accepting the fact that you will be handcuffed,” he added.

Booth further said the officers did not violate their rights or use excessive force. However, he revealed that the woman kicked an officer three times in the face, although he did not reveal when exactly on the night of the arrest.

“I think it’s enough for me to tell you why the charges are in place,” he told The Daily Beast.

The woman was then put in jail. It is unclear if she has posted bond and if she has a scheduled trial date.

The arrest remains under investigation.
